Rebecca F. Kuang (born May 29, 1996) is a Chinese-born American author known for epic and historical fantasy as well as literary fiction. She is the author of The Poppy War trilogy, Babel: or the Necessity of Violence, Yellowface, and Katabasis. A Marshall Scholar, Kuang studied at Georgetown, Cambridge, and Oxford and has pursued doctoral work at Yale. Her work has won awards including the Nebula Award and the Astounding Award and has appeared on The New York Times bestseller list.
