Christopher Pike is the pseudonym of Kevin Christopher McFadden, an American author best known for his prolific contributions to young adult fiction, particularly in the horror, thriller, and science fiction genres. Born in New York City and raised in California, he began his writing career in the 1980s and became a major figure in the YA horror boom of the 1990s. He has written over 50 books, including the popular 'The Last Vampire' (rebranded as 'Thirst') and 'Spooksville' series, as well as adult fiction novels like 'Sati' and 'The Season of Passage'.
