John Vaillant
John Vaillant is an American-Canadian author and journalist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. His work, which includes both non-fiction and fiction, often explores the complex and often volatile relationship between human ambition and the natural world. He is widely acclaimed for his narrative non-fiction books, including 'The Golden Spruce', 'The Tiger', and 'Fire Weather', the latter of which won the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction.
