Leif Enger
Leif Enger is an American novelist known for his lyrical prose and exploration of themes such as family, faith, and the American landscape. Born and raised in Minnesota, he worked as a reporter and producer for Minnesota Public Radio for nearly two decades before achieving widespread acclaim with his debut novel, Peace Like a River (2001). He has since published several other novels, including So Brave, Young, and Handsome, Virgil Wander, and I Cheerfully Refuse.
