Rahna Reiko Rizzuto
Rahna Reiko Rizzuto is an American author and educator known for her work in both fiction and memoir. Raised in Hawaii and based in Brooklyn, she is of mixed Japanese and Caucasian heritage. Her writing often explores themes of identity, family history, and the impact of war, particularly the Japanese American incarceration camps and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. She is the author of the novel 'Why She Left Us', the memoir 'Hiroshima in the Morning', and the novel 'Shadow Child'. She has served as a faculty member in the MFA in creative writing program at Goddard College.
