Tim Severin

Tim Severin (born Giles Timothy Watkins) was a British explorer, historian, and writer, best known for his work in retracing the legendary journeys of historical figures, such as Saint Brendan the Navigator, Sindbad the Sailor, and Jason and the Argonauts. He was also a prolific author of both non-fiction travelogues and historical fiction, including the Viking trilogy and the Hector Lynch series.
