Johanna Skibsrud

Johanna Skibsrud is a Canadian-American writer and academic, born in 1980 in Nova Scotia. She is a novelist, poet, and short story writer, best known for her debut novel, 'The Sentimentalists', which won the 2010 Scotiabank Giller Prize. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the Université de Montréal and is a Professor of English at the University of Arizona.
