Florence Minor
Florence Minor was an American children's book author and film editor. She began her career as a documentary film editor for ABC News before transitioning to writing children's books with her husband, illustrator Wendell Minor. Together, they managed the Minor Art studio, and Florence also served as his business manager and art director. Their collaborations include "Christmas Tree!", "If You Were a Penguin", "If You Were a Panda Bear", "How to be a Bigger Bunny", and "Smitten with Kittens". She was known for her poetic, rhyming texts and her keen eye for detail, which she honed as a film editor.
