Sue Grafton
Sue Taylor Grafton (April 24, 1940 – December 28, 2017) was an American novelist best known for her bestselling "Alphabet" detective series featuring private investigator Kinsey Millhone. Beginning with A Is for Alibi (1982), the series ran through Y Is for Yesterday (2017). Daughter of mystery writer C. W. Grafton, she wrote novels and screenplays and received multiple genre awards and recognition for her contribution to crime fiction.
