Susan Shapiro
Susan Shapiro is an award-winning American writer, journalist, and professor known for her numerous books, many of which her family dislikes. She has written for prominent publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The New Yorker. Shapiro teaches writing at institutions including NYU, The New School, and Columbia University, and is the author or co-author of over 14 books, including memoirs and writing guides. She lives in Greenwich Village with her husband, a scriptwriter.
