Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Silvia Moreno-Garcia is a Mexican-Canadian novelist, short story writer, editor, and publisher. Born in Baja California, Mexico, she grew up in Mexico and various places in the US. She moved to Canada in 2004 and later earned a Master's degree in Science and Technology Studies from the University of British Columbia. Moreno-Garcia writes across multiple genres, including fantasy, horror, noir, and historical fiction. She is also the publisher of Innsmouth Free Press, an imprint devoted to weird fiction. Her work has received numerous awards and nominations, and her novel "Mexican Gothic" is being adapted into a limited series.
