David P. Leong

David P. Leong is an associate professor of missiology at Seattle Pacific University and Seminary, where he also directs the Global and Urban Ministry minor. He previously worked in urban Seattle churches, focusing on community groups and neighborhood involvement. Leong's scholarship examines the theological significance of cities in a globalized and urbanized world, exploring how urban geography shapes reconciliation and community belonging. He is the author of "Street Signs: Toward a Missional Theology of Urban Cultural Engagement" and "Race and Place: How Urban Geography Shapes the Journey to Reconciliation."
