Astrid Scholte

Astrid Scholte is an internationally bestselling and award-winning author of fantasy novels for young adults. She also works in film and animation production, with career highlights including work on "Avatar," "Lilo & Stitch," and "Wicked." Scholte graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Film, Media and Theatre and a Bachelor of Digital Media from the University of New South Wales and the College of Fine Arts in Sydney. She has spent over a decade working in visual effects and animation production. Her debut novel, "Four Dead Queens," was released in 2019 and became an international bestseller. She lives in Melbourne, Australia.
