Eleanor Estes

Eleanor Estes was an American children's author and librarian, best known for her award-winning books such as "Ginger Pye," "The Hundred Dresses," and "The Moffats" series. Many of her stories were inspired by her childhood in West Haven, Connecticut, and her experiences as a librarian. She was recognized for her ability to capture the authentic experiences and inner lives of children.
