Whitney Scharer

Whitney Scharer is the author of the novel "The Age of Light," which is based on the life of photographer Lee Miller. She holds a BA in English Literature from Wesleyan University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington. Her work has appeared in publications such as Vogue, The Telegraph, and The Tatler. Scharer is also a co-founder of the Arlington Author Salon, a quarterly reading series, and teaches fiction writing workshops. She lives with her husband and daughter in Arlington, Massachusetts.
