Aravind Adiga

Aravind Adiga (born 23 October 1974) is an Indian author and journalist best known for his debut novel The White Tiger, which won the 2008 Man Booker Prize. He grew up in Mangalore, studied English literature at Columbia University and at Magdalen College, Oxford, and has published novels and short stories that often examine social inequality and contemporary life in India.
