Dr. Bonnie Henry

Dr. Bonnie Henry is a Canadian epidemiologist, physician, and public official who has served as the Provincial Health Officer for British Columbia since 2018. She is also a clinical associate professor at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Henry is a specialist in public health and preventive medicine and is a family doctor. She notably led the response to COVID-19 in British Columbia. Her career has included international work with the World Health Organization and UNICEF, and she has held various public health positions in Toronto and British Columbia, including leading the response to the SARS outbreak in Toronto. She is the author of "Soap and Water & Common Sense" and co-author of "Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe: Four Weeks that Shaped a Pandemic."
