Sadeqa Johnson
Sadeqa Johnson is a New York Times bestselling author known for historically rooted novels that center Black women's lives and choices. Her books include The House of Eve and Yellow Wife; she has received honors such as the Phillis Wheatley Award and recognition from the Hurston/Wright Foundation and BCALA. Originally from Philadelphia, she has worked in public relations and teaches in Drexel University's MFA program.
