
Nadia L. Hohn
Nadia L. Hohn is a Canadian educator, award-winning author, musician, aspiring illustrator, and advocate for diversity in children's literature. Born in Canada to Jamaican immigrant parents, she grew up and currently lives in Toronto, Ontario. Hohn is an elementary school teacher and also instructs creative writing courses at post-secondary institutions. She began writing and illustrating her own books at age six. Her work often celebrates different cultures and experiences, aiming to ensure that young children can see themselves in literature. Hohn is also a cancer survivor.
