John Bishop M.D.

John Bishop M.D. is a retired orthopedic surgeon from Houston, Texas, who turned to writing medical mysteries after retiring. He grew up in Waco, Texas, and attended Baylor University and Baylor College of Medicine. He specialized in foot and ankle surgery. His first novel, 'Act of Murder,' was published in 2020, and he is the author of the Doc Brady mystery series. He also has a background in music, having played piano and organ since childhood and performing with an R&B band.
