Hossein Amini
Hossein Amini is an Iranian-born British screenwriter and film director known for his literate and complex scripts. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for 'The Wings of the Dove' (1997) and won an award from the Austin Film Critics Association for his adaptation of 'Drive' (2011). He also wrote and directed 'The Two Faces of January' (2014), based on a Patricia Highsmith novel. Amini's career began in television with 'The Dying of the Light' (1992) and has since included work on series like 'McMafia' and 'The Alienist'.
