Lenny Lipton
Lenny Lipton was an American author, filmmaker, lyricist, and inventor, widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of projected three-dimensional imagery. He is best known for writing the poem that became the lyrics for the hit song "Puff, the Magic Dragon." Lipton also developed significant 3D technology used in modern theaters and televisions. His work in stereoscopic display led to inventions like CrystalEyes and the ZScreen, which were foundational for RealD 3D systems. He founded StereoGraphics Corporation and held numerous patents related to 3D technology. Lipton also authored several books on filmmaking and the history of cinema.
