Jack B. Du Brul (born October 15, 1968) is an American author best known for techno-thriller novels featuring Dr. Philip Mercer. His debut, Vulcan's Forge (1999), launched the Mercer series; he has also co-authored several novels in Clive Cussler's Oregon Files and Isaac Bell series. Du Brul's work blends geological and technical detail with fast-paced action and global-stakes plots.
