Stephen Coonts

Stephen P. Coonts (born 1946) is an American novelist best known for his Jake Grafton series. A former U.S. Navy A-6 Intruder pilot, Coonts drew on his military experience for his debut novel Flight of the Intruder (1986), which became a bestseller and was adapted as a feature film. He has written numerous spy and techno-thrillers and continues to publish novels and collaborate on series work.
