Joe Donnelly is a Scottish author best known for a string of horror novels published primarily in the late 1980s and 1990s. His work often draws on Celtic mythology and is frequently set in the west of Scotland (around Dumbarton and Loch Lomond). Titles include Bane (1989), Stone (1990), The Shee (1992) and several others; he also wrote the Jack Flint trilogy for younger readers.
