Joseph R. Garber (August 14, 1943 – May 27, 2005) was an American author and business analyst best known for his bestselling thrillers including Vertical Run. He wrote fiction and non‑fiction, contributed technology and business articles to Forbes, and served on corporate boards. Prior to his writing career he worked as a consultant and held roles at AT&T and Booz Allen Hamilton.
