Gordon Korman (born October 23, 1963) is a Canadian-born author of more than 100 books for children and young adults. He published his first novel, This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall, while still in junior high and has since written numerous series and standalone novels (including Swindle, Restart, and the Macdonald Hall books). Korman's work is known for its humor, fast pace, and appeal to middle-grade readers; his books have sold millions of copies and have been adapted for television and film.
