Cathy Ostlere

Cathy Ostlere is a Canadian writer of nonfiction, drama and young adult fiction. Her memoir Lost: A Memoir examines family, grief and the loss of her brother; it was shortlisted for the Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction. Her verse novel Karma (2011) has received multiple distinctions including the R. Ross Annett Children’s Award and recognition from YALSA and Booklist. She has written for stage and screen and divides her time between Canmore, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia.
