Ashley Spires

Ashley Spires is a Canadian author and illustrator of children's books, best known for her picture book The Most Magnificent Thing and the Binky the Space Cat graphic-novel series. Raised in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, she studied photography and illustration (Emily Carr University of Art and Design; Sheridan College) and has written and illustrated numerous award-winning and bestselling picture books and graphic novels for young readers.
