Marissa Meyer

Marissa Meyer (born February 19, 1984) is an American novelist best known for The Lunar Chronicles, a series of YA science-fiction/fantasy novels that retell classic fairy tales in a futuristic setting. She has also written the Renegades trilogy, standalone novels such as Heartless and Instant Karma, and the Gilded duology. Meyer began writing fan fiction before publishing her debut novel Cinder in 2012 and has since become a New York Times bestselling author. She hosts the podcast The Happy Writer and lives in Tacoma, Washington.
