Kim Thúy
Kim Thúy is a Vietnamese-born Canadian writer. Born in Saigon in 1968, she fled Vietnam with her family at the age of ten as one of the 'boat people' and settled in Quebec, Canada. A graduate in translation and law, she has worked as a seamstress, interpreter, lawyer, and restaurant owner before dedicating herself to writing. Her work often explores the migrant experience, the challenges of adapting to a new culture, and the complexities of the human condition.
