John M. Ford

John Milo "Mike" Ford (1957–2006) was an American science fiction and fantasy writer, game designer, and poet. Known for his intelligence, wit, and versatility, he authored acclaimed novels such as 'The Dragon Waiting' and 'Growing Up Weightless', as well as influential Star Trek tie-in novels like 'The Final Reflection'. He was also a prolific contributor to role-playing game design, notably for GURPS and Paranoia. Despite his early death, his work has seen a resurgence in interest and reissues in recent years.
