Peter Berresford Ellis is a British historian, literary biographer, and novelist, widely regarded as a pre-eminent Celtic scholar. He has published numerous books on Celtic history and culture under his own name, and is also well-known for his bestselling Sister Fidelma historical mystery series written under the pseudonym Peter Tremayne.
