Vincent Lam
Dr. Vincent Lam is a Canadian physician and author. Born in London, Ontario, and raised in Ottawa, he is of Chinese-Vietnamese descent. He graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and has worked as an emergency physician and in addiction medicine. His writing career gained significant recognition with his debut short story collection, 'Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures', which won the 2006 Scotiabank Giller Prize. He has also authored a novel, 'The Headmaster's Wager', and a biography of Tommy Douglas.
