Wendy MacIntyre is a Scottish-born Canadian author, editor, and academic. Born in Glasgow, she immigrated to Canada at age five and grew up in Ottawa. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. Her writing, which includes novels, short fiction, and scholarly essays, is often influenced by myth, archetype, and the visual arts. She lives in Carleton Place, Ontario.
