Chris Ewan is a British crime and mystery writer, born on October 6, 1976. He is known for his "Good Thief's Guide" series, which features a globetrotting crime writer and thief-for-hire named Charlie Howard. Ewan's work often blends travel adventures with intricate heists and has been praised for its witty narrative and European settings. He also writes standalone thrillers that explore ordinary situations turned perilous. Ewan studied American Literature at the University of Nottingham and previously worked as a lawyer before becoming a full-time writer. He has lived on the Isle of Man and now resides in Somerset, England, with his wife and two children.
