Faye Kellerman

Faye Marder Kellerman (born July 31, 1952) is an American novelist best known for the Peter Decker/Rina Lazarus mystery series. A former student of mathematics and dentistry at UCLA, she published her first novel, The Ritual Bath (1986), to critical acclaim and has since written more than twenty novels blending police procedural crime fiction with Jewish themes and family life. She has won the Macavity Award and received other award nominations and recognitions during her career.
