Tomi Adeyemi is a Nigerian-American writer and creative writing coach, best known for her West African-inspired fantasy novels. She graduated from Harvard University with an honors degree in English literature and later studied West African mythology and culture in Salvador, Brazil, which inspired her debut novel, "Children of Blood and Bone.". Her work often explores themes of identity, oppression, and representation, and she aims to inspire Black girls and women through her writing..
