Larry Niven
Laurence van Cott Niven is an American science fiction writer known for his hard science fiction, often incorporating big science concepts and theoretical physics. His work also frequently includes elements of detective fiction and adventure stories. He is the creator of the "Known Space" universe and is particularly famous for his novel "Ringworld."
