Ray Bradbury

Ray Bradbury (1920–2012) was an American author and screenwriter best known for his works of speculative fiction which blend science fiction, fantasy, horror and lyrical prose. His most famous books include Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and Dandelion Wine. Bradbury's writing often explored themes of censorship, technology's impact on society, memory and nostalgia, and the wonder and dangers of imagination. He was a prolific short-story writer, a frequent collaborator in film and television adaptations, and a major influence on later generations of genre writers.
