Priti Birla Maheshwari

Priti Birla Maheshwari is an author and a teacher. Born in New Delhi, India, she immigrated to Canada at the age of six. She has also lived in the United States. She holds a Master of Education degree, an undergraduate degree in French Language, and various Montessori Certifications. She has been a teacher for over twenty years and also completed her Picture Book Intensive Certificate. Her debut picture book, "Chaiwala!", was published in 2021 and has received multiple honors, including being chosen for the TD Grade One Book Giveaway in 2023. She is also the author of the "Queen Bee" chapter book series. Priti enjoys visiting schools to share her love of stories with young readers.
