
Tim Parks
Timothy Harold Parks is a British novelist, essayist, travel writer, and translator who has lived in Italy since 1981. He is also a professor of literature, teaching literary translation at IULM University of Milan. Parks was born in Manchester in 1954, grew up in London, and studied at Cambridge and Harvard Universities. He has written numerous novels, including "Europa" (shortlisted for the Booker Prize), "Destiny," and "In Extremis." His non-fiction works often explore Italian life, culture, and society, as well as themes of health, consciousness, and the writing process. Parks is also a prolific translator of Italian literature.
