Jack McDevitt
Jack McDevitt is an American science fiction author known for his novels that often explore themes of first contact with alien races, archaeology, and xenoarchaeology. His work frequently features recurring characters such as galactic relic hunters Alex Benedict and Chase Kolpath, or superluminal space pilot Priscilla "Hutch" Hutchins. McDevitt has received numerous award nominations and won the Nebula Award for Best Novel in 2006 for "Seeker."
