Stephen Mertz

Stephen Mertz (born May 3, 1947) is an American fiction author best known for action-driven thrillers, hardboiled noir and suspense novels. He has written under several pseudonyms and contributed installments to multi-author series (including work attributed to Don Pendleton). His work ranges from paranormal dark suspense to political and military thrillers; he is also a popular lecturer on the craft of writing and a U.S. Army veteran who lives in the American Southwest.
