Alfred Coppel

Alfred Joseph Coppel (November 9, 1921 – May 30, 2004) was an American novelist and prolific pulp-magazine writer best known for his science fiction and post-apocalyptic novels and short stories. A World War II fighter pilot, he published numerous works under his own name and pseudonyms (including Robert Cham Gilman and A. C. Marin), producing both adult science fiction and space-opera novels as well as action thrillers.
