Harry Turtledove
Harry Norman Turtledove (born June 14, 1949) is an American novelist and historian best known for his work in alternate history, historical fiction, fantasy, and science fiction. Trained as a historian with a Ph.D. in Byzantine history, Turtledove has published numerous series and standalone novels including the Southern Victory and Worldwar sequences and The Guns of the South. He has won multiple genre awards (including Hugo and Sidewise recognitions) and is widely regarded as a leading author of alternate-history fiction.
