
Niall Ferguson
Sir Niall Campbell Ferguson (born 18 April 1964) is a British–American historian and author, known for works on international, economic and financial history and the history of empire. He is Milbank Family Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution (Stanford) and a senior faculty fellow at the Belfer Center (Harvard). Ferguson has written widely for newspapers and presented award-winning documentary series; his books include Empire, The Ascent of Money, Civilization, The Square and the Tower and Doom: The Politics of Catastrophe.
