Stuart MacBride

Stuart MacBride (born 27 February 1969) is a Scottish crime writer best known for his Logan McRae series set in Aberdeen. He began writing after a variety of jobs including offshore work and IT, and his work is associated with gritty, darkly humorous 'Tartan Noir' crime fiction. He has won awards including the Barry Award for Best First Novel and the CWA Dagger in the Library.
