
Vikram Seth
Vikram Seth is a prominent Indian novelist, poet, and travel writer known for his versatility across various literary genres. Born in Calcutta in 1952, he studied at Oxford University and Stanford University. He gained international acclaim for his epic novel 'A Suitable Boy' (1993) and his verse novel 'The Golden Gate' (1986).
