Margot Livesey

Margot Livesey is a Scottish-born novelist and essayist. Raised on the grounds of a private school in the Scottish Highlands, she later moved to North America, where she has had a distinguished career as a writer and educator. She is the author of numerous acclaimed novels, including 'Eva Moves the Furniture', 'The Flight of Gemma Hardy', and 'The Boy in the Field'. She has taught at various prestigious institutions, including the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
